| Abstract |
|
We reported a case of rhabdomyolysis associated with severe hypematrernia. None of known predisposing factor for rhaMo- myolysls, e.g, potassium or phosphate depletion, alcohol, drug, coma, were present in this patient. He completely recovered without sequele by aplication of hemodialysis and other suppotive measures. We propose that severe hypernatremia per se may present another predisposing factor for nontaumatic rhabdomyolysis. |
