| Abstract |
|
The hemolytic uremic symdrome(HUS) is a clini- co-pathologic syndrome in which thrombocytopenia and microangiopathic hemolytic anemia occur toget- her with acute renal failure and a characteristic renal vascular pathology. Although HUS occurs considered to involve the kidney almost exclusively, involvement other organs has been incresingly re- cognized and it rnay involve the cardiovascular, CNS, gastrointestinal, skin and rarely muscular system. We report a case of HUS and myoglobinuria in a heavily drinking woman with review of literature. |
