| Abstract |

Continuous Ambulatory peritoneal dialysis has estab- lished itself as an effective method maintaining the patients with end-stage renal disease. Recurrent perito- nitis & pericatheter infection were the most common causes of catheter removal. The importance of proper exit site care cannot be over emphasized. In the eixit site care of CAPD patients the role of specially trained nurses is essential to achieve the pre- vention of pericatheter infection and maintenance of the CAPD. In this atrcle, the development of training program at Kosin Medical Center is reviewed. Epsecially organizing of the general exit site care and problematic exit site care including the method of taking shower. |
