| Abstract |
|
We experienced a case of thin glomerular basement membrane disease with the complaint of asymptomatic persistent microscopic hematuria in a 10-year-old boy. By electron microscopic findings of the renal tissue obtained by percutaneous renal biopsy, the glomerular basement membrane revealed marked attenuation over 80%. Of glomerular capillary walls measuring 201±28 nm thickness with 79±13 nm thickness of lamina densa having smooth inner and outer contour. A brief review of related literatures was also present- ed. |
