| Abstract |
|
Two cases of multiple myeloma are presented.Their clinical features were charaterized by renal failure. In the first case, The underlying azotemia was aggravated by intravenous pyelogram to acute renal failure, and in the second case, the chronic renal failure was acutely exaggerrated by pneum- onia and dehydration. We treated them with correction of the reve- rsible precipitating and/or aggravating factors of renal failure and the responses were relatively good. It is emphasized that multiple myeloma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of the acute renal failure, especially in the elderly. |
