| Abstract |
|
Acute renal failure is being described with incre- asing frequency in patients with multiple myeloma. Forty three cases have been reported in the litera- ture. We experienced 4 patients among 73 patients with acute renal failure, later confirmed as multiple myoloma. 3 patients were noticed at first because of hyperglcb.ilinemia or/and Bence Jones proteinuria, the one because of unusual renal biopsy finding (Mesangio-nodular glomerulosclerosis). Bone marrow biopsies and immunoelectrophoreses were performed for confirmative diagnosis. |
