장티푸스에 동반된 IgA 신병증 1례

Abstract

Immune complex glomerulonephritis has been de- scribed in various infectious diseases. In typhoid fever, however, glomerulonephritis has been rarely reported. We did renal biopsy in a 13 years old male patient with typhoid fever who had elinical evidence of renal diseases such as gross hematuria and proteinuria and found to be associated with mesanginal glomerulone- phropathy, consistent with IgA nephropathy.
