| Abstract |
|
The authors have studied the effects of the Ca- type resin on serum K inhibition, serum electrol- ytes, body weight and blood pressure in cases of chronic renal failure. The results obtained were as follows; 1) Inhibitory effects on increases in serum K values were significant (p<0. 05) in patients with chronic renal failure. 2) There were no significant effects on the serum Na, Cl, Ca, or P values. 3) There were no significant effects on the blood pressure and body weight. |
